Brentford and Isleworth sorting office staff have appealed to local businesses to donate goodies for their Christmas appeal.

The posties are set to begin their Christmas jumper fund-raiser for the Mulberry Centre at the West Middlesex Hospital.

The centre provides care and support of people with cancer and their families.

Postal staff will be wearing their Christmas jumpers on December 11.

Donations can be made to your local postie, or put a contribution into the box when collecting a parcel, or give to the justgiving page below.

They have a signed Brentford ball and a signed QPR shirt, with more prizes to follow.

Now they want to offer a wider range of prizes and said: "Any local businesses or anyone else has anything we could give as a raffle prize please get in touch.

"Prizes are a little bit football orientated at the moment and it would be nice to have some things of a wider appeal. Perhaps a voucher for a beauty treatment or a meal etc."

Anyone who pledges £10 will automatically be entered into a raffle.
