Sports FEST to go online this weekend

This weekend's Brentford Sports FEST organised by the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust is to run online due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The Trust said: "With the running festival now in its fourth successful year, it would have been great to have runners, families and participants of all ages join in Syon Park and celebrate this iconic community event.

"However, runners' safety is the top priority and running an event of this nature poses several health-related risks at this time.

"The good news is the Trust have been working extremely hard to offer participants an exciting virtual event on Sunday, 18 October. "

The event includes:

  • A bespoke virtual platform – with a leader board and community features.
  • Unique Syon Park medals.
  • Branded finisher t-shirts.

For runners who have already booked your place, simply follow the link below to check-in through the new virtual platform here.

There is still time to encourage family members and friends to join you and take part in one of the races.

Events available:

  • Adults :10K and 5K run
  • Children: 1K run
  • All: 5K Mental Health Walk.
