Brentford: Road closed and very slow traffic due to accident on A4000 Gunnersbury Lane

A road has been closed and very slow moving traffic reported due to a crash at Gunnersbury Lane and Gunnersbury Avenue junction in Ealing.

Ealing police announced on Twitter that officers are currently on the scene at a road traffic collision on Gunnersbury Lane junction and Gunnersbury Avenue in Ealing.

A road closure has been put in place on the Northbound Carriage, according to Ealing Police.

People have been advised to avoid the area if possible.

AA Traffic reported the road closure and very slow moving traffic due to the accident on the A4000 Gunnersbury Lane both ways, from A406 North Circular (Gunnersbury Park) to Bollo Lane (Acton Town Station).

This is also causing delays on the North Circular between Ealing Common and Chiswick Roundabout.

Queueing traffic has also been reported on the A406 North Circular both ways at (Hanger Lane Gyratory System).

According to AA Traffic, the incident was first reported just before 4pm this afternoon.
