The Watermans Arms is a traditional local pub tucked down the side of Ferry Lane.

Historians say a pub has existed at this site since 1751 but was rebuilt in the 20th century.

Remnants of an earlier building of around 1790 can be seen on the exterior flank wall.

The front is Edwardian and is almost certainly by Thomas Henry Nowell Parr - mock Tudor above the ground floor was his hallmark,

Doulton glazed tiles and Art nouveau glass feature in the windows on the ground floor.

The pub is mentioned in Alfred Pearce's poem of Fifty Pubs on Brentford's High Street, penned in 1948.
