BRENTFORD residents are being invited to have their say on the new proposed polling stations ahead of next year's local elections.

From next year, Hounslow Borough will be divided into 22 wards, an increase of two from the current 20 wards.

The Council must conduct a full polling district and polling place review and is asking for residents to have their say by August 25.

It's an opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed stations and at the same time residents can use their local knowledge to shape where they vote.

Residents with disabilities are particularly encouraged to have their say on the matter.

Niall Bolger, Chief Executive and Acting Returning Officer for Hounslow Borough, said: "I urge all residents to play their part and have a say in local democracy.

"It's with your help that we can make Hounslow inclusive, accessible and representative for all."
