Brentford Nursery hosts first recruitment day with jobs up for grabs

The Pump House Nursery in Brentford is hosting its first recruitment evening on Thursday 3 November from 6.30pm, in a bid to attract new childcare professionals to their team, following growing demand for the Nursery.

The Ofsted-rated Good Early Years setting located on Pump Alley, minutes from Brentford High Street, is inviting in prospective candidates to come along in November and discuss the opportunities available, as well as tour the setting.

Jobs up for grabs include apprenticeships for those looking to enter the Early Years sector, as well as full and part-time positions for qualified practitioners (up to Level 3). Bank positions are also available for those looking to fit work around other commitments.

The open event will give candidates an opportunity to undertake informal interviews on the night, meet current team members and tour the facilities, with the potential of securing employment at the setting. Welcome bonuses of up to £1000 are also available for the right candidates.

Senior Manager for The Pump House, Kay Johnson-King said: "We're thrilled to be able to open our doors and welcome potential new recruits.

The Pump House Day Nursery is part of the award-winning CC Nurseries Group which has 10 settings across England and Scotland, providing care to over 800 families.

Recruitment Officer for CC Nurseries, Helen Wright said: "Our recruitment open days provide a brilliant opportunity for us to expand our teams – and with great success. At our last event at our Bedfordshire setting, 80% of attendees who attended on the night, were offered employment

"We hope to replicate this success at our Brentford setting."
