Brentford FC Community Sports Trust cancelled or postponed the majority of its community activities over the festive period due to new tier 4 restrictions.

The Trust said: "During this pandemic, the safety and wellbeing of participants has always been top priority. After all factors were considered, the Trust has taken this difficult decision and believes that actions are appropriate for participants and staff."

Below is an update on projects and respective sessions.

School Holiday Camps

School holiday camps at Chase Bridge Primary School and St Mary's RC Primary School in Chiswick have been cancelled. Please email [email protected] to discuss your booking.

Football Development Programme

Football festivals on Monday 21, Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 December at Gunnersbury Park have been cancelled – please email [email protected] for further information.

Disability Sport

Disability sports sessions at Springwest Academy are cancelled. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.

Premier League Kicks Holiday Camps

The Trust is unable to run Kicks Holiday Camps this week. They are in the process of organising online activities for these camps – including an exciting Q and A with Brentford players.

As part of the provision with the Premier League, the Trust will also arrange lunch drops in respective areas over the next couple of days. For more information, email [email protected].

Education

Due to the Trust working with a number of vulnerable children through education activities, staff will still be running several one-to-one sessions.

For more information, email [email protected]. Staff will continue to monitor the ongoing situation closely and provide any further updates in due course.

The Trust is looking to resume sessions in January and urges all participants to stay safe during the festive period. If you have any questions, contact via [email protected].
