Our top pick for this week is the Tea Dance at Brentford's Musical Museum.

Tea dances are starting up again at the museum for the first time since March 2020.

The social afternoon event this Saturday will feature Ballroom, Latin & Sequence dancing to the DJ's selection of popular dance tunes.

The dance begins at 2.30pm but teachers David and Diane Whyte give a free dance lesson at 2pm before the dance.

Tickets for the three-hour session are £8.50 and include a cup of tea/coffee, or a glass of prosecco if guests prefer something stronger!

Noeleen O'Gorman, museum administration manager, said: "The event is a nice gentle activity to ease into some exercise but, having said that, it can get more energetic, especially with the occasional jive."

All levels of ability are welcome to the session, taking place this Saturday, 18 September.

Tickets are still available to book on their website, or read about other events at the Musical Museum.
