FORTNIGHTLY canalside guided walks, run by the Canal & River Trust, have started today (June 29) in Brentford.

The walks will take place every two weeks on Tuesdays at 11am and will end at around noon.

The exact dates are today (June 29), July 13, July 27, August 10, August 24 and September 7.

The walk will start and finish from outside Verdict Bakery on the High Street and will follow a route along the canal path to Boston Manor Park.

The walks will be set at a slow to moderate pace, with steps to cross the bridge over the canal into the park also having handrailing.

The walks are being run as per current COVID guidelines, so there will be a maximum of six walkers in addition to the walk leaders and social distancing will be adhered to.

Face masks will not be required during the walks.
