A BUDGIE that was found at Lionel Primary School has been reunited with its owner, according to a vet's surgery.

The bird caused a racket when it flew into the primary school in Brentford, before being caught by teachers.

With three days before the end of the school term, a Facebook appeal was launched to find its owner.

The call was quickly shared and tweeted around social media, receiving several offers to adopt the feathered friend.

The bird was then taken to the Alcombe Vet Northfields branch where it was kept for two days before the owner came forward.
