Brentford and Isleworth MP Ruth Cadbury has urged local residents to get booster jabs in run up to Christmas.
This comes as the Omicron Covid-19 variant continues to spread throughout the country.
In the run up to Christmas, the Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty has spoken at length of the necessity of everyone to get their booster jabs and to do their bit to protect the NHS.
As of Wednesday, 15 December, those aged 18 and over can now book a booster.
Speaking about the booster program, Ruth Cadbury said: "It's so important you get the booster jab or your 1st or 2nd dose of the vaccine if you've not yet had them.
"I got my booster jab last month to protect myself, my family and my friends, and it's vital that everyone who can get their booster vaccination does so.
"With the number of positive Covid-19 cases increasing because of the Omicron variant getting vaccinated makes a huge difference.
"You can get your Covid-19 vaccination by either attending one of the walk-in centres locally, or via booking through the national website or by calling 119.
"I also want to say a huge thanks to all our NHS staff and volunteers who have been working tirelessly to support the vaccination scheme.
"I know how tough the last two years have been and I know that everyone in our NHS will be working flat out to roll out the booster program.''
Two large vaccination events are taking place this weekend (16 and 17 December) in west London to increase booster uptake.
