Man attacked with pitchfork in west London

A man was stabbed with a pitchfork in neighbouring Ealing last night.

Police were called to Ealing yesterday (September 1) where a man had been both stabbed with a pitchfork and "slashed with a knife".

The suspect was arrested at the scene, the Met revealed in a tweet today.

It said: @MPSSpecials said: "MSC Officers from #WestArea deployed to @ealingMPS overnight, attending an emergency call where a male had been stabbed with a pitchfork and slashed with a knife. The suspect was arrested at the scene."

The tweet included video footage of police rushing to the west London scene as a colleague radios to say "three people fighting with knives. That's all we have at the moment."

MPS Specials have not specified the exact location of the attack or the condition of the victim after he was stabbed with the pitchfork and knife.
