Detectives from the West Area BCU are investigating, and have carried out a number of enquiries including a review of CCTV.

Detective Inspector Tony Smith said: "We have been carrying out extensive enquiries to identify those responsible for this cowardly crime which left the victim with an injured shoulder.

"At this stage, we have made four arrests but we are continuing to investigate this incident so that we have as much evidence as possible to take forward.

"I would urge anyone who either witnessed this, or has information that could assist us, to please make contact."

Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 6806/09Sep.
