Met Police detectives investigating a shooting in Clapham on Friday, 1 March have charged an 18-year-old man from Hounslow.

Brolyn Dangi, 18, of Unwin Road, Hounslow, was arrested on Tuesday, 12 March.

Yesterday, Wednesday, 13 March, he was charged with aggravated vehicle taking and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life or enabling another to do so.

Dangi appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 13 March.

Previously, Keymarni King, 18, of Cromer Road, SW17, was arrested on Monday, 4 March and charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life or enabling another to do so.

Keymarni was also charged with aggravated vehicle taking and injury caused by an accident, and two counts wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.

He appeared before Bromley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 6 March.

Both men have been remanded in custody to next appear at Inner London Crown Court on Wednesday, 3 April.

The charges relate to an incident involving the police pursuit of a moped being ridden by two people who failed to stop in the Clapham area on Friday, 1 March.

The moped collided with a pedestrian, and crashed. A firearm was reported to have been dropped and discharged as it hit the ground.

Met Police say the pedestrian and two other people were injured, but have since all been released from hospital.

These charges follow an investigation by Met Police detectives from Trident, a part of the Met's Specialist Crime Command.
