Events going on in Brentford

Allelujah, Watermans

Based on the stage play by Alan Bennett and starring the crème de la crème of British acting talent.

Allelujah is a warm, humorous, and deeply moving story about surviving old age. When the geriatric ward in a small Yorkshire hospital is threatened with closure, the hospital decides to fight back.

Allelujah celebrates the spirit of the elderly patients whilst paying tribute to the deep humanity of the medical staff battling with limited resources and ever-growing demand.

The Hard of Hearing screening, with audio description, will be at 3.45pm on Tuesday 28 March and includes 'safe seating'.

The Parent and Baby screening is on Wednesday 29 March at 11.30am, book your tickets here.

Questors Choir presents two joyful and uplifting 18th century pieces. Antonio Vivaldi's majestic Gloria is a cornerstone of the choral repertory, and in his Missa Brevis, Franz Josef Haydn's characteristic energy and joie-de-vivre shine through. The 60 voices of the choir will be joined by professional soloists, accompanied by organist Ben Lewis-Smith, and conducted by Paul Ayres.

Saturday 25 March 2023 at 7.30pm, St Martin's Church, Hale Gardens, West Acton W3 9SQ

Early bird online: £14. After 19 March and on the door: £15. Children 12 and under: free. Includes programme and interval drink. Book online at www.questorschoir.org/202303-VivaldiGloriaandHaydn
