FRIDAY: Films on a Friday at Watermans

Fancy a Friday film to drive away the January blues?

Checkout what's on at Brentford's independent cinema, including; A Hero, Munich – The Edge of War and Boiling Point, followed by a Q&A screening.

SATURDAY: Beginner's crochet classes - Watermans Park Building An adult, beginners class in crochet with be starting up this Saturday. Classes will be ongoing - Pay as you go, with one-to-one sessions also available. Email [email protected] if you have any further questions or wish to book a place. SUNDAY: Final free tree giveaway - Hounslow Heath car park

This Sunday is the final day for Hounslow residents to collect their free tree.

Last year Hounslow Council pledged to give away 500 trees to residents, to help make Hounslow greener.

SUNDAY: Chiswick Cheese market returns

The first cheese market of the year is here, as the Chiswick Cheese Market returns.

Chiswick was originally known as known as 'Cheesewick' - it's Old English for cheese farm - and the speciality market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month to bring outstanding cheese and lovers of cheese together.

Expect over 100 DIFFERENT CHEESES, plus chutney, crackers, cheeseboards and many more cheese related goodies.From 9.30am to 3pm this Sunday on Old Market Place, Chiswick High Road, London W4.
