UPDATE: 81-year-old man missing from Hounslow found 'safe and well'

Hounslow Police have announced that 81-year-old Colvin, who went missing yesterday, has been found safe and well.

They thanked the public for their support as many took to social media to help in the search.

Hounslow Police had appealed to the public for help in the search for Colvin Fitt who was last seen at 3 pm on Monday, 3 January in Hounslow.

In an Instagram appeal, Colvin's daughter in law said he might have been on either the 267, 237, 235, E8 or H28 bus routes and that he suffers from dementia.

Police stated that he may appear confused and disorientated.
