The family run Brentford restaurant Pappadums is ready for the Christmas season and currently taking Christmas bookings.

They will be open throughout the festive period, on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New year's night.

The curry house, which re-opened at the end of July this year as 'Brentford Restaurant', has changed back to its original title 'Pappadums'.

Owner Prasana, whose husband is the chef, had run Pappadums from 2013 to 2018, however sold it just before Covid-19 to move to the USA and visit family there.

Returning earlier this year, they re-purchased the restaurant, which had remained closed throughout the pandemic.

Prasana told Nub News: "People have tried the food and come back and in fact we've got old customers coming back from two years before."

"We've got great reviews, all five star reviews from nearly 100."

Pappadums had previously received good business from staff at the company GSK, whose headquarters are, for the time being, in Brentford and Sky who also have offices nearby.

The pandemic has meant a lot of these customers are no longer, as many people are still working from home.

Despite this they have a strong following who have returned to the curry house over the years.

For the festive period, they are offering a 10% discount for groups of ten guests minimum, including on Christmas and New Year's night.

Find Pappadums at GC1 & GC2 Ferry Quay, TW8 0BT.
