Brentford's Premier League fixture list announced

BRENTFORD will be in the Premier League for the first time in the club's history next season and in the top-flight for the first time since 1947.

Earlier this morning the fixture list for the 2021/22 season was announced, with the Bees kicking off their campaign at home against London rivals, Arsenal, on August 14.

Their first away trip is to another London rival, this time Crystal Palace, on August 21.

Brentford's most local rivals this season are European champions, Chelsea, who will visit the Brentford Community Stadium on October 16, before the return leg at Stamford Bridge on April 2.
