Conservation task day at Boston Manor Park

Woodland coppicing and dead-hedging conservation task day, 10am - 3.30pm

Meet under the flyover by the basketball court.

Join 'The Conservation Volunteers' and Vanessa, the Natural Park Manager at Boston Manor Park on a practical task day using traditional methods of woodland management to 'coppice' some hazel and create 'dead-hedges' that will be used to protect our iconic veteran trees.

This event is for 16s +. Please wear clothes appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear - the ground may be wet and muddy. Tools and gloves will be provided.
