A weekend of Festive Fun on Saturday Dec 11 and Sunday Dec 12 to come together for a fun packed two days and really get into to the festive spirit.

On Saturday 11th December at 11am, the spirit of Christmas will descend on Brentford to kick off events with The Brentford Project's Crafty Christmas Day, a whole host of Christmassy activities are on offer - there's a packed itinerary of arts and crafts activities for all ages to enjoy.

In the evening at 4.30pm you're invited to gather in Market Place where the Brentford School for Girls Choir will entertain us with songs from Frozen, do come along and support them. This will be followed by the official switching on of the lights on a splendid Christmas tree very kindly donated by Ballymore at 5pm. This will be performed by Brentford FC's biggest fan Woody, ably supported by Brentford legend Marcus Gayle and club mascot Buzz, do be there for the countdown!

On Sunday 12th December at 11am – 3pm Brentford's much-loved regular Sunday market returns to its usual venue the Market Place, and will be set around the Christmas tree for a festive market, with

a range gifts, arts, crafts, and food stalls.

To help really get us in the Christmas spirit there will be live music from local artists playing throughout the duration of the Market, there'll be something for everyone to get festivities well and truly underway – shop and rock!

In addition to all of this the Magpie and Crown will be running a Christmas wreath making workshop from 2.30pm – 5.30pm followed by more live music at 6pm from Alix Anthony.

Hounslow FoodBox will have a stall at the market, and sadly more people than ever need help over Christmas. So do please bring donations of food, toiletries, festive treats such as selection boxes, toiletries sets, and small toys and treats for school children. Everyone should have something to brighten their Christmas; especially this year.

Great things happen when a community bands together, but magic happens when an entire town works together, we're ready to wow this weekend and create a taste of true Brentford hospitality!
